1863 Queen Street East - The Beach Condominiums 5 – The Building

The fifth and final project in this series of condominiums built by The Pemberton Group from 1999 to 2006.  It's a low-to-mid-rise building which fits in perfectly with the neighbourhood. There are one, two and three bedroom suites with  north and south views and each suite has a walkout with a glass balcony.

The Beach Condominiums 5 has four sister buildings alongside it. Of the 5 buildings, 1765 Queen Street East, 1797 Queen Street East and 1829 Queen Street East have identical footprints, floor plans and interiors.

1863 Queen Street East -The Beach Condominiums 5- Features and Finishes

Since this was the final phase, these units are newer and have the most contemporary finishes. There's ample glass which lets in plenty of natural light.  The European styled kitchens still look like new and most are open-concept to the main living area. This creates longer sight-lines and a feeling of even greater space. Premium flooring finishes include hardwood, ceramics and broadloom depending on the location. Laundry alcoves with stacking washer/dryer are standard in every unit.

1863 Queen Street East - The Beach Condominiums 5 - The Neighbourhood

The Beach Condominiums 5 is located on the South West corner of Woodbine Ave and Queen Street East. It's about a 2 block walk to the Boardwalk, the Summerville Pool and beautiful 'Blue Flag' Woodbine Beach. Beachers still refer to this thriving area as the 'new development' but it's a seamless extension of the original neighbourhood. Read more about  the Beaches Community and Beaches Real Estate.
