danforth village community

The Danforth Village community has grown from its early days as Church of England land to a thriving community, ideally situated just east of Riverdale and North of The Beaches. Danforth Village is considered an affordable neighbourhood - for now.

It has a lot of the same housing stock as The Beaches, Leslieville, and Riverdale, but priced at a considerable discount. So it's no surprise that up and coming first time buyers are flocking to this neighbourhood in droves.

Residents of the Danforth Village community is just a stone's throw from Greektown, a thriving and vibrant community which offers plenty to see and do. Grab a coffe at one of the many cafes, indulge in traditional Greek fare at one of its many restaurants, or pop into one a pub or lounge for a drink with friends. Each summer brings "Taste of the Danforth", a street festival which draws hundreds of thousands to the area.

Proximity to the Danforth subway line is another plus for this neighbourhood, with several easily accessible stations within walking distance. See the Danforth Village Transit page for more information.
